In celebration of Birmingham Pride 2019, Q Mixtape is a new live music event showcasing and platforming musical artists from the LGBTQ+ communities.

Our aim is to support and nurture new talent in a safe space where LGBTQ+ artists can develop their musical skills, create new music compositions and platform their new musical work to a wider music audience nationally and internationally.

On the day we have an LGBTQ+ and friends family musical djembe and percussion session with Kay Smith; plus live performances from artists such as To!u A¡ayi , Franx , Khadijatou Doyneh aka K2 , Zara Sykes , Denis Fernando, Didactic MK, Cberto, SJ Soulist,DJ Gail Watkis and our host Saraya Jay.
